About Us

The Project Paradise Film Fund was founded by a group of native Floridians who are passionate about protecting Florida’s environment and telling Florida’s stories through the arts. The Natural Florida Film Grant is the Fund’s inaugural initiative. The Fund’s goal is to advocate for conservation efforts through impactful and inspired storytelling - knowing that it is much easier to bring the Florida Wildlife Corridor to its audience than vice versa.

The Fund aims to provide conservation-minded storytellers with a platform for sharing perspectives on what makes Florida’s natural surroundings unique and why it is so important to protect them.

Florida is home to some of the world’s most precious and varied natural resources, including diverse ecosystems, wildlife, working lands, conservation corridors, wetlands, coral reefs, watersheds, forests and, of course, the Everglades.  As Florida’s population grows, and more land is developed, awareness and education around Florida conservation has become critically important.

Our Committee

  • Bettina Anderson

As a Palm Beach native and an outdoor enthusiast, Bettina is passionate about protecting Florida wildlife and preserving the natural treasures that make Florida such a unique and beautiful place to live. Bettina loves being in the water and, as a licensed rebreather tech diver, she has a unique and special lens for witnessing the impact that over-development is having on our natural waters and marine wildlife.

  • Kent Anderson

Over the last ten years, Kent has traveled the globe creating content that focuses on the world’s most environmentally sensitive areas. He is a pilot, an eagle-scout, and an award-winning filmmaker that has worked with numerous non-profits and conservation efforts, both locally in Florida and abroad.

  • Lauren Wynns

Lauren is an oceanographer at heart and a lawyer by trade. She is a hobbyist “reef-keeper” and a big fan of protecting and advocating for animals. In her spare time, Lauren studies marine biology in her at-home laboratory and volunteers at pet rescues. Her love of natural Florida began as a kid while trolling the bays in St. Petersburg.

  • Samantha Cerny

Samantha incorporates conservation and wildlife care as an integral part of her worldwide travels. She has worked with North Bali Reef Conservation and other non-profits to raise awareness around critical global conservation issues.

  • Stacey Leuliette

Stacey is the owner & editor of The Scout Guide Palm Beach, The Scout Guide Jupiter & Palm Beach Gardens, The Scout Guide Nantucket, and The Scout Guide Hamptons. Stacey loves spending time walking Florida’s beautiful beaches or exploring Florida’s many trails and streams on foot or by kayak. Stacey has called Palm Beach her home for nearly a decade.
